Dear Madame/Sir,
I trust this communication finds you well. I am writing to formally register strong concerns relating to my Honda City VXi (petrol, automatic), purchased in Jaipur in November 2018. Despite being a responsible, loyal customer, I have encountered multiple serious issues and unsatisfactory service experiences, which have been handled unprofessionally at multiple stages. I worked under high pressure during the COVID-19 pandemic as part of the core team at S.M.S. Medical College & Hospital, Jaipur, and during that time (April 2020), your authorized service agent delayed addressing a persistent air conditioning cooling failure. Worse still, in May 2024, I was suddenly told that the air conditioning compressor required replacement, exactly five years after purchase. It seems that the service centre deliberately delayed resolving the issue until after warranty expiry. This suggests a deliberate strategy to avoid liability. Most recently, compelled by a mandatory recall in July 2025 (fuel pump replacement), I sent my vehicle to Landmark Honda, Jaipur. Post service, the axle oil seal (which had not leaked) was replaced and, upon delivery, the driver side axle rod malfunctioned, and the headlight assembly began disintegrating. The contact person at Honda informed me that the part was broken, old, and had melted (the verbatim WhatsApp message 'Sir ye pehle se tuta hua tha; Purana hai aap dekhiye; Galat tut gaya'). The statements put forth in the said message are not befitting the repute of an international car brand of the name of Honda, that was once known for its workmanship and component standards. Attempts to reach resolution via Honda Cars India’s customer relations have been met with minimal engagement and no remediation. I believe such practices of delayed servicing until after warranty expiry, deficient workmanship during recalls, and breakdown of parts under reasonable expected life are not only unfair to customers but pose a reputational risk to Honda, especially in the Indian market where the brand's presence is under increasing competitive pressure.
Therefore, I respectfully demand:
A thorough investigation into the delayed A/C service in 2020 and 2024.
A courtesy compensation or goodwill gesture for the compressor replacement cost.
Immediate inspection and replacement of the malfunctioning axle and headlight assemblies at your cost.
Assurance of improved product quality standards and post sales service transparency.
I trust Honda will resolve this matter promptly and maintain the high standards the brand professes. I reserve the right to escalate further, including seeking legal counsel, consumer court redressal, and sharing this experience across social and digital platforms if needed. Verified ReviewerI am absolutely furious with the service at Balaji Honda Service Centre in Vellore. I have serviced my car at this center three times, and each year, my experience has only gotten worse. My car has on
- - There were three visits to Balaji Honda Vellore; windows and mirror still unfixed.
- - Flat tire on return; bill 12138 INR includes CVT oil and false date.
I am absolutely furious with the service at Balaji Honda Service Centre in Vellore. I have serviced my car at this center three times, and each year, my experience has only gotten worse.
My car has only run 9128 km in 2.5 years, and this time I had issues with the windows not closing and a side mirror problem. Despite informing them beforehand, the service guy immediately blamed it on rats without even inspecting the car, saying it might not be covered by insurance and might cost 40k INR. This clearly shows their intention to rip off customers.
Two days later, there was still no update, and we had to file another complaint on February 12th, 2025, just to get a response. They returned the car on February 15th, 2025, claiming it was fully serviced, but the side mirror issue was still there.
When confronted, they made lame excuses, saying it was working earlier. Why didn't the service team check the car thoroughly before returning it?
To add insult to injury, the car was returned with a flat tire. The service guy claimed he didn't notice it, which is ridiculous given the warning symbol on the display. We had to ask him to switch to the spare tire, but now we are left with the cost of puncture repair or tire replacement.
I am also concerned that my alloy wheel rim might have been damaged because the driver arrived with a flat tire.
The bill, which came to a whopping 12138 INR, also included a CVT oil replacement, which seems premature at just 9128 km and was not requested by us. With a relatively new car that has only run 9128 km, is it really necessary to perform so many service items (8 parts changed and 19 labor charges) for a general service? Additionally, these items were never discussed with us beforehand. Shouldn't these be discussed with the customer before proceeding with the service?
I also have a Hyundai car, and I've never encountered these issues with it's service. Additionally, Hyundai sends me a video of the technician servicing my car. I'm surprised that Honda doesn't have this practice. To make matters worse, the bill falsely states that the car was taken and delivered on February 10th, 2025, which is not true.
This is not the first time I've had issues with this service center; this is around my fifth complaint. Since I live abroad and my parents are senior citizens, I believe they are being taken advantage of. This experience has made me regret ever getting a Honda car. We are worried that we might face a similar experience next year at this service center.
Since this is the only Honda center in Vellore, we Honda owners feel very helpless. Many people in Vellore end up taking their cars to Chennai or nearby cities for service.
If you check the reviews on their website, you'll see many people have had similar unsatisfactory experiences. I'm sharing my detailed experience so that others don't have to go through the same ordeal and to make you aware of this service center's issues.

Again faced the following issue.
Again issue with 3rd service - they picked my car from home. While reaching the service center, the driver sent the image of my car; in that image, it was clearly mentioned 7 point petrol, and after service, just a 6 km drive to my home was delivered by your Honda team with only 5 point.
I asked them where my petrol was around 4 to 5L disappeared, but there was no proper response from them.
Then I gave the car to the same Honda service center for the insurance claim (small dent). They kept my car in the service center for more than 7 days. I made several calls, and no one responded properly, so I visited the service center.
They kept my car in the street; one side of the car was fully scratched. I showed the manager the scratch and mentioned that during the last 3rd service they did the following things. Kindly rectify.
1) Your team only did the 3rd service; after reaching my home, I faced that the handbrake was very tight.
2) The AC mode rotator is not working, which was working fine before the 3rd service.
3) There was a scratch on one side of the car.
4) After the body shop work, there was a white patch on both rear lights.
5) The amaze letter 'A' was missing; then they pasted it again incorrectly, and they used Feviquick to stick that letter. Is this a professional way to stick the letter?
The manager told me he would give me two days' time to rectify that, then I came again after two days and checked my car.
When I checked my car, the scratch on the shock was still the same, AC rotator issue, and the white patch on the light were still there.
I called the manager, and he was telling me he was at another service center.
But when I gave the car to Girish, he clearly told me that the claim charges are 1000 Rs. Apart from that, if anything needs to be added, we will get confirmation from the customer, then only we will start that work; otherwise, we won't do it as he mentioned.
Then the bill came; after seeing the bill, I felt this Honda authorized service center was a cheating center. Without my confirmation, they added extra services and asked me to pay the amount; then only they gave me the car.
After lots of arguments with the Moosa person, he told me that he would speak with Girish and would refund 1000 Rs, but still no response.
Again, petrol went down around 4 to 5L. When I gave the car, there was 5 point petrol, and it hadn't even traveled anywhere, still in Meenambakkam service center for 7 days, but petrol was showing as 3 point.
I spent around 3+ hours in the Meenambakkam service center. I am totally fed up, then I paid the amount, and then I left that day.
When I gave my car to Ambathur service center, no one stole my petrol before and after delivery; it was the same point. But in Meenambakkam showroom, two times I gave the car, and all the time my petrol disappeared.

I bought a new Honda amaze from Signature Honda Kannur , They cheated me.. They gave me a totally faulty car,
Rust on all parts in suspension, wheel alignment issue, stain on glass and body alignment issue, now car is not comfort to drive because of issues..
After all this the dealer staff behaved very badly to me and to my wife when visited the Kannur Honda dealership, and they entered wrong service history in my cars service history multiple times.
Totally I feel very bad after purchase a new car from Honda..still not solved any issues in my car... Now becomes pain on my body (my hand and shoulder) when I drive this car more than 20km..

They made a dent & scratch on my car

WORST Service center which i have ever serviced my car. Total cost for general service(Honda City) comes around 16k.
They have added lot of extra/unwanted things on the bill. They have not even washed the car. The worst part is they made a dent & scratch on the bottom of the car and they have not admit their fault. They started claiming that dent & scratch was already there.
Attaching the photos. When i asked for reason for the driver, he is speechless and service technician simply arguing like it was already there. None is ready to hear my voice. People do service here should think Twice/Thrice.
Two major issues i saw,1st they did the dent & scratch and they never admit it. and started blaming me and 2nd There are almost 7-8k unwanted things they are adding on the total bill with some technical words.
I felt like i was totally cheated on this service. Finaly when i tried raise a complaint on Honda website, i cant raise any complaint none of the complaint option are not working.

We have taken the 3rd service for my car, UP80GX2008. We are facing problems like the power steering not moving smoothly, the gearbox not moving smoothly, and window mirror noise.
However, every time, the service supervisor says that every Honda car has hard steering, no problem with the gearbox, and that window mirror noise is always present.
Hence, your car is perfect. Please confirm if Honda cars actually have these problems.

I am writing to raise a serious concern regarding the quality of parts in my recently purchased Honda vehicle. On 29th October 2024, I bought a brand-new Honda amaze V .
from Regent Thane and to my great disappointment, I have already encountered a significant issue
Just days after purchase, the plastic components surrounding the gearbox melted due to sun exposure, causing extensive damage to the gearbox itself and ruining the protective coating of the vehicle. This is completely unacceptable for a brand-new car, and I am deeply concerned about the standard of materials used in such a critical area of the vehicle. As a trusted and globally respected brand, I expected much higher quality from Honda, particularly in a newly purchased vehicle.
Given that this vehicle is New , I am requesting an immediate resolution to this issue.
Specifically, I expect full reimbursement or replacement of the damaged parts at no cost to me. I also request that this matter be escalated to higher management, as this situation reflects poorly on the quality control processes at

I was earlier using Honda Amaze 2014 diesel model. As 10 yrs going to expire.
I was approached by sales representative of Honda dealer Prime Honda, and represented and advised for purchase of Honda Amaze Car Vx Cvt model. They represented that the car will give at least 13- 14 km/ ltr in the city.
On their I advise, I purchased the car Honda Amaze VXCVT model.
However to the utter shock and surprise it gives only 8 km / ltr mileage.
I had complained in this regard.
But nothing happened.
I dont understand only to sell their vehicles the Honda car dealers make fool of the peoples . They dont even think that car is not purchased for short time and it is purchased for at least 10 yrs.
its very bad on the part of Honda, they only make fool of the people.

In every last serviced time, what are the servicing required, the adviser or engineer updated that has been done on that time itself. (May I know how the vehicle Owner will know the Automobiles service technical issues before the incident?)
· As per Honda Policy for a new vehicle is 5 Year under Manufacturer warranty by Honda Company.
The vehicle faced incident before 3year itself, in recently also went for servicing to authorised Honda centre visited date 28-07-2023, 02.23pm, that time my car running was 38036KMS. I am supposed to do the next service in 40K of running periods on a regular basis. (as shared you all Service History in pdf in mail)
I would like to request you to know the proper High level National inspection Teams report and audit it in the right policy of Honda for further action in the Vehicle ACT of LAW.
As you hereby mention that the incident I described is highly unusual, that I would like to ratify it and wish to know the actual reason for the incident at the time.
Why did the disc plate break at that time?
As this accident has not happened by me or others, then the insurance company can be approached for it. As the Disc drum or Plate is broken, It's covered by the Manufacturer warranty of the vehicle only.
